We are looking to have 5-10 vehicles set up alongside our community policing unit for our upcoming Trunk-or-Treat! Event date and time is currently 10/27 at 12:00 PM!

Eligibility Requirements

Under Rhode Island General Law 17-11-12 and 17-11-12.1, in order to work at the polling place an individual must be:

  • 16 years of age or older (If in High School still must be a Junior or Senior with a minimum GPA of 2.5)

  • A registered voter in Rhode Island (preregistration required if 16-17 years old)

  • Able to read the Constitution of the state in English

  • Able to write his/her own name

Mail ballots will be sent to voters starting the week of October 7. If you would like to apply for a mail ballot, the deadline is October 15.

In November, voters will be asked whether or not the State should hold a constitutional convention. We are building a diverse statewide coalition of individuals and organizations who are uniting to oppose this ballot measure and to urge a “no” vote in November on the calling of a convention.
