Why I’m running

I'm excited to run for Town Council, motivated by my deep commitment and LOVE of our community and its future. With 15 years of small business experience, I understand the challenges and opportunities that shape our local economy. Being a small business owner i have valuable insights into economic development and community needs. As the chair of the Parks and Recreation Committee for the past five years, I've seen firsthand the importance of creating vibrant, safe spaces for all residents to enjoy. I've had the pleasure to work with the Four Hearts Foundation to help them get the new playground built on Turnpike Ave. I have worked with our parks and recreation directer and town officials to get pickleball courts in our town. My extensive volunteer work at community events reflects my dedication to fostering a sense of belonging and connection among our neighbors. I believe that together, we can build a stronger, more vibrant town that meets the needs of all its residents.

Areas of Interest or Expertise

Helping to grow our recreation department to benefit the residents of Portsmouth.

As a small business owner myself I will work to make all of our Portsmouth small business succeed.

Top Three Goals for the Town

1 I will work closely with our Parks & Recreation department to continue supporting community programs and events that bring our community together.

2 i will bring my experience as a small business owner to vote for responsible budgets that control taxes while meeting the community’s needs.

3 As a parent with two children in our public schools, I will continue to support our public schools to maintain our high standard of education. Portsmouth is ranks 4th among public schools systems in Rhode Island.

One Interesting Fact About Me

I own the Comedy Connection located in East Providence RI. The Comedy Connection has come along way since I took it over back in 2010. My club now hosts some of the biggest names in comedy and has put Rhode Island on the map as a destination for comics to preform at.
